歌を歌うようになったきっかけは、今から10年前になる。
当時、人生において最も心を痛めた出来事があり、生きることさえも辞めたくなるような心境だった時に、
カーラジオから聞こえたエルヴィス・プレスリーの「ラヴ・ミー・テンダー」に心が救われたような感覚になった。
エルヴィス・プレスリーが醸し出す音楽観やあの素晴らしい歌声に強い刺激を受け、自身も歌を歌うようになる。
そこから 「エルザビス TATSUO」のアーティスト名で、エルヴィス・プレスリーのカバーライブなどを行う。
この音楽活動が、山口県庁に認められ、山口県の文化人パフォーとして活動することとなる。
その後、知人の紹介で演歌・歌謡界では新進気鋭の作詩家、日野浦かなで先生との出逢いにより、
2024年5月22日キングレコードより山口アキラの名で「硝子の夜」C/W「人生模様」でメージャーデビューが決まる。
2024年春、活動拠点を山口から東京に移し、本格的に歌手活動がスタートする。

I started singing 10 years ago.
At that time, I experienced the most heart-wrenching event in my life, and I felt like giving up on even living.
When I heard Elvis Presley's ``Love Me Tender'' on the car radio, I felt like my heart was being saved.
Strongly inspired by Elvis Presley's musical outlook and wonderful singing voice, he began singing himself.
From there, he performed Elvis Presley cover live shows under the artist name "Elsavis TATSUO".
This musical activity was recognized by the Yamaguchi Prefectural Office, and he became a cultural performer of Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Later, through an acquaintance, he met Kanade Hinoura, an up-and-coming lyricist in the enka and music world.
On May 22, 2024, King Records will make a major debut under the name of Akira Yamaguchi with the C/W of "garasunoyoru" and "jinseimoyou".

In the spring of 2024, he will move her base of activities from Yamaguchi to Tokyo and begin her singing career in earnest.
